Spring 2019 Marketing Internship
PVCNSI is looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our team where your insightful contribution will help us develop, expand and maintain our marketing goals. Uniqueness of our Institute that combines projects ranging from sales of aquacultured corals to science education programming will help you acquire marketing skills and engage your knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing.
- Help enhance and implement marketing strategies
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
- Prepare promotional presentations
- Help distribute marketing materials
- Help organize marketing events

Fall 2018 Internship Description
Assisting in creation of independent, capstone projects and redesigning of science courses in marine biology, environmental science, biology and chemistry for Holyoke Public School and independent research projects for Natural Science Clubs (afterschool program). Research projects will be complementary to the high school programs and will serve as a resource for innovation in course redesign. For example, these projects will include expanding of topics in the science program, preliminary assessment of student’s original ideas and research, and design of DIY equipment (e.g., water quality monitoring devices) that will be used in projects conducted with our high school participants. When applicable (due to deadlines and interest), the topics for independent studies will be shaped around the upcoming science awards aimed for K10-12 students (e.g. Clean Tech Competition, Chemistry in Pictures, Earth Day Awards). This will be coordinated with the goals to maximize students’ outcomes and achievements through our program.
Others will include: Organization of career development workshops, Science Gala, seminar planning
